We thought you would never ask!
Campus Open Course was founded by a few University of Florida students—Josh Greenberg (c/o '09), Andres Barreto (c/o '09), and Robert Gadala (c/o '07)—based upon a philosophy between us—we noticed that many people in our past have positively influenced the situation we are in today. We realized that at many points in our lives, people have helped us one way or another, and we came to the conclusion that the best way to repay those people in the past is to help out others in the future.
After developing a team that shared a similar philosophy and a mutual goal of providing an open forum in which students can communicate, Campus Open Course was founded in January of 2006. Since then, we have expanded our site's interface, added features, and grown along with the community we now support.

Daniel: Community Developer
Daniel Seeman is an undergraduate student as well; sophomore standing,
first year, computer engineering. Despite his major, he's the community
contact within the group, in charge of new and old members, and their
satisfaction with the site's workings. He firmly believes that
networking is the biggest advantage of a large university, and he
helps Campus Open Course users exploit that ability.
